DamaCon

A group of kids watches as a Kendama tournament gets under way during "DamaCon" at the South Shore Mall in Aberdeen. Kids competed in the amount of tricks performed with the toy (pictured hanging around the neck of the kid in the center). Hundreds of Kendama fans showed up for the event.

Brycen Nguyen, 10, of Aberdeen is really good at Kendama, a Japanese game involving a wooden toy. Apparently Kendama is extremely popular among middle schoolers.
